C2C Network Security Policy

C2C Network with its associated services and features acts as a trusted confidential application service provider dedicated to providing a secure Internet and mobile service.

C2C Network employs a high degree of security consciousness. One of C2C Network’s priorities is to make reasonable efforts to ensure data security and be fully compliant with industry best practice.

  • Access
  • Integrity
  • Availability
  • Ownership
  • Authorisation
  • Dependability
  • Authentication
  • Confidentiality

All are major considerations within the C2C Network Security Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us.

C2C Network upholds its stringent Security Policy with the following security measures:

Role-Based Usage

C2C Network grants varying degrees of access to users with different level of authority with an invited or validated member.

Encryption

All communication between you and the C2C Network server is secured by using SSL 256-bit encryption. This is the industry standard level of encryption currently recommended.

Data Security

C2C Network takes measures to secure your data on our servers, in our EU based data centres. Our data centre is both physically and electronically secured. Our servers are isolated from the Internet by using multiple firewalls that blocks access by unauthorised parties.

Confidentiality

C2C Network has internal policies that keep your data private and confidential. We will not share your data with any third party except as described in our Privacy Policy. Your data is your data only.

Login ID and Password

Access to your account is controlled by a login ID and a password, which you chose. Strict login ID and password rules help prevent unauthorised users from gaining access to data.

We do NOT store a plain text version of your password. Your password is stored using a one-way hash key and verified using the same one-way hash every time you login, which means no one at C2C Network knows what password you have chosen. If you ever forget your password, we force you to choose a new one using an email verification check.

Every 90 days will send you a recommendation to change your password to help protect yourself, if there has been no change by renewal – 12 months you will be sent a new password as part of the process.

Auto Log Out

C2C Network protects you against accidentally leaving your account active on a computer browser screen. The C2C Network service ends your “session” if logged into C2C Network but have not actively used the service for a set period of time, two minutes screen lock and then to allow for data loading of large files I hour then logout. This prevents others from accessing your account when you leave a session and forget to log out.

Digital Certificates

C2C Network uses a digital certificate issued by Starfield Technologies a leading Secure Server Certification Authority using strong SHA-2 and 20480-bit encryption. This gives you the confidence that you are connected to C2C Network and are authenticated as such.

Sensitive Information – C2C Network handles all your health information with respect to its confidentiality and privacy. We ask that you follow your GDPR policies on communicating sensitive information –see our terms and conditions for Data Protection and Security.
